Martha is a graduate of Colbert County High School and attended Calhoun Community College, but currently lives in Lawrence County. She has been in the optical business since 2005. As the primary optician at Drake Eye Center, Martha spends the majority of her time working one-on-one with patients, helping them find the frame that looks and fits them the best. She is also very knowledgeable on all lenses, coatings, and add-ons, which ensures every patient has optimal vision with their new prescription. When patients finish their eye exam, she is very likely the one that will greet them with a big smile and friendly voice to help them with all their optical needs and to answer any frame and/or lens questions they may have. She also works in the lab cutting and edging lenses, as well as placing orders to ensure that every patient’s glasses are ready as soon as possible.
Martha enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, Chris, and her two daughters, Kayla (born in 1991) and Megan (born in 1999). She also enjoys the outdoors and loves to landscape.
