Dr. Drake was born and raised in Hartselle, where he graduated with honors from Hartselle High School in 1995. Dr. Drake continued his education at UAB, where in 1999, he graduated Cum Laude with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. In May 2003, Dr. Drake received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the UAB School of Optometry.
